How is the Princeton Review Manual for the SAT Book for preparing for the SAT's???

I used it when I prepared for SAT…my writing improved about 100 points by simply reviewing the grammar rules commonly tested. The math strategies were a little obscure to me, even though I still scored 800 consistently.

and how is it for reading score improvement???

Reading was pretty hard for me to improve…I didn’t learn much new vocab, but my score went up about 30-40 pts.

rspence - what would be a good thing to study to improve reading??? For math just reviewing all questions i get wrong on blue book practice tests and for writing gonna study this Princeton Review Manual for the SAT.

I’d say just vocabulary…the rest is just test-taking strategy, from knowing which order to answer the questions (to minimize time) to eliminating answers that are half-true.

also in the Princeton Review Manual for the SAT’s there are answers for the drills, but no answers for the sections like for the 1 0r 2 questions underneath each grammar rule tutorial? Where can i find these answers???

Sorry I don’t remember…I had two copies of PR’s Manual for the SAT; one of them I gave away, the other (the one I used) I just recycled today. I think some of the examples come with explanations.

idk i cant find the explanations. Someone else know where they are???
