<p>Anyone know what the big fabric mosaic is that they dropped in Buntrock Commons today or why? You can see it on the hi mom web cam:</p>

<p>I texted DD to ask her this myself yesterday–she said 1) they’re displaying/moving new art pieces around campus and 2) this piece is to create buzz for a quilting convention. I have no other information, like when it is, etc!</p>

<p>“The Big Print” is comprised of art from 1180 kids and adults and an overall design inspired by historic Norwegian knitting patterns. The Big Print is a collaborative public art piece from the nonprofit art group called ArtOrg."</p>

<p>Pretty awesome! My friends and I love looking at it as we walk through the commons. According to the article, they’re planning to invite all the people who designed the blocks back in '08 to come see the finished product.</p>
