what's unique about cornell?

i know cornell is a gd school and all, but whats so different about it vs all the other ivies?

its in ithaca so its generally colder

It’s a beautiful campus with lots of wonderful nature all around. The architecture on campus is inspiring. There are many dedicated professors and lots of opportunity to learn within the school you choose and from those around you who have chosen other schools. There are many wonderful schools out there, but for some Cornell is the perfect fit!

There’s a much larger mix of different types of people because it’s 2-3x larger than some other Ivy League schools.

All of the above, plus it has a huge course catalog, with offerings of seven different undergraduate colleges to choose from. And is in a great college town.

Cornell is like an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet. Think of any major and you will find it here =)

It also beings with a “C.”

I’ve chosen to not recognize Columbia.

cornell has CORN in it. i like to eat CORN.

haha, thanks for that laugh. I needed it.

itz got teh gorges

The architecture is unique at Cornell…I’m a senior and I still haven’t seen all the buildings on campus (let alone the NYC/Qatar campuses). Even the dorms look awesome :)

Well, I wrote my why Cornell essay on corn, so yeah. Also, we are known to be the coolest Ivy.

coolest Ivy? what does that mean?

I thought it was named the hottest Ivy a couple years ago.

I’m so confused…:)

it is HOTTEST ivy…though i think we are the coldest too…

Dartmouth is colder

What? No way?

Actually, IIRC it’s true, Dartmouth is colder.
