<p>And what's wrong with being a state school? There have certainly been times when people I was dealing with would have been turned off if they knew the Penn I was referring to was one of them hoity-toit Ivies. Those who need to know, know. Those who don't, don't matter.</p>
<p>Cornell is partly a public state school too. Penn is much higher on the scale than cornell though. Honestly its my number 1 choice for business. Awsome place to learn to do business. My teach would know. He went there ug and before 2008 he was a multi millionaire because he learned everything about the stock market from penn. Besides, Penn is in an azmazing neighborhood, has an amazing campus and honestly provides you with a great atmosphere to learn. Reading this thread I was surprised to see it written that penn students are arrogant and somewhat stuck up. Can anyone confirm/deny that? Not that ther person who said it doesnt have credibility, but some people experience a bad part of the school early on or moreso than others</p>

<p>^It depends on what you're looking for. My friend from LA went crazy at Princeton because there was "nothing to do" whereas I'm from a quiet suburb so it took a while to get used to the city atmosphere.</p>
