Just kinda curious as to what everyone is doing in their classes. At my school, we're barely gonna review grammar. The entire year is pretty much gonna be prepping for the exam. We've already had 3 in class essays and some completely random prompts to talk about.
So yea what's everyone else here doing?

Mine is composed of 100% native speakers (which is a first in our school), so it’s pretty relaxed in there. All of the grammar was covered in the other three years of spanish, so the class is composed of review and reading. Lots and lots of reading. Also, a few oral prompts to prepare for the speaking portion of the AP exam.

We usually finish 20 minutes before the bell rings, even after going over the next days material. Why last Friday, we just watched soccer all period, as horrible stereotypical as that sounds

Overall, it’s really fun. A “family” type of class.

My class is about fifty percent native speakers, also a family type class. We have our first essay due this week, and we also cover an idiom every week to help practice for the test. We have mostly been talking about stereotypes in Spanish, and we’ve done a few presentations, with a big one coming up in about a month.

We aren’t even going to discuss the AP test until second semester. We will do mostly review starting then.

We are still learning grammar and vocabulary, which is difficult for me because I skipped Spanish 3 because I felt like I wasn’t being challenged. I sure am being challenged now! :)

And we work up until the bell rings or close to it every single day.

my class shouldn’t even be running. you need 15 people to sign up in order to have a class running. only 14 people signed up for AP spanish. then 2 dropped so now we have 12. about 7 people are fluent ( 2 are native and 3 lived in spanish speaking countries at some point in their lives ) .
we’re reading la casa de bernarda alba . but anyway, its fun. we get lots of attention.
we do current events every week and present in front of the class. we did one essay already. no english is spoken.

Book work on grammer and stuff Monday through Thursday, and literature reading on Friday. Speaking practices throughout the week.
