What's your homework for your next class?

Let's see if it works. Rant/praise about your homework and maybe we can give each other pointers.

For ENG101: I have to describe a person I saw through the day and if we were to walk into a market and supposed to find that person, I will have described him well enough so anyone can find him.

ECO211: Telecourse. I have until December to finish 18 chapters. I'm going to go 6 chapters every two weeks so I can finish it and possibly sign up for ECO212.

BIO101: Just study for the lecture notes and lab notes like crazy. Memorize it!

MTH140 - do the assigned tasks and ask for help if needed.

ACC101 - do the assigned homework and study. first test is in about 5 weeks.

My only major headache is ENG101. He didn't even give us a rubric. Just had us describe a chair in class for an hour 20 minutes and then says do the same about a person. Any ideas on how to approach it?

what school you go to?

A community college.

hbu

ENG 267: 2 journal entries describing how we feel about our assigned British Literature readings. (1 page long, each.) Due tomorrow. We have to interview someone in our class and write a 2 page comp about them, due Thursday.

BIO227 (Anatomy and Physiology): First exam on the 19th. Studying through 4 chapters of material in preparation for that exam. I have an assessment in lab on Wednesday, too, to prepare for. 4 lab activities this week.

MTH108: I have 50 problems to do for tomorrow, and a take-home quiz due the 11th. I've done both of them. First test is next Friday.

POLS101: Couple of chapters/lecture notes to go over. Not even sure when the first test is. :S

I think I can sum up all of my classes with this:

Read, read, read, study, study, study.

Love the concept of this thread. I don't really have work to share though.

Edit: 400th post!

Marketing: Buy the book (hey, i just got paid Friday), and read chapters to catch up

Operations Mgmt: Read, Study for Exam on Thursday

Political Science: Read 2 chapters from main book, 1 chapter from other book, Study for Exam on Friday

Econ: Read 2 chapters, Study for Exam on Friday

Accounting: Read 2 chapters, Study for Exam on Wednesday

this week basically sucks.

Design: work on our first group PowerPoint for our aircraft design, practice what I'm going to say

Engineering Materials: read some stuff, finish up a couple dozen problems, keep working on my lab report due in a week (about halfway done at 20 pages)

nothing in my other classes though

None, as I don't start till Wednesday.

What I'm expecting:

Mass Media: Read for quiz next week.

Photojournalism: (Going to be ridiculously easy as I've taken the advanced course and I work for a local paper) Probably shoot a photo, though the teacher has requested that I "do more" this semester.

Craft of the Historian: Probably read.

Modern South Africa: Read above.

Luckily it's only the second week, but:

Biology: Read + prelab
Physics: Homework set
Materials Science: Homework set + prelab
Political Science: Read

Italian-10 Pages in workbook, and study for review quiz for Wednesday.
Politics in Europe-Read 2 chapters, quiz on Thursday.
Political Polling-Read Ch 2 (done) and essay due Thursday.
World Regions-Read Ch 2 & take notes, map quiz in 2 weeks.

Calc- Problem Sets and projects
chem- study???
physics-study???
political science-read

no tests for awhile

Fugging precalc is ****ing me off. I hate how when I look at the solutions manual, I go, "oh! I knew that!" For some damn reason I don't use all of my previous knowledge and sit there and stare at the God forsaken problem.

I also came across a concept that I've never seen in my life prior to precalc. Seriously. It's replacing variables so you end up in ax^2+bx+c=0 form.

For example if you had x^4+6x=49, you can put it into the form above. Why didn't anyone teach me this back then?

econ - study!
poli sci - study!
stats - 4 sets spanning 3 chapters equaling about 30ish problems
biology - online quiz, STUDY!

What econ book do you have?

I used to have Mankiw prior to dropping it. Now I have it written by Gotteli...he's not as good as Mankiw

Do you guys get study guides with all your test books? I only get them with my econ book :(
