Mine went OK. Very disorganized and hectic from moving in and buying last minute supplied. This week is already going to be 10X better! You?

oh how nice of you to ask!
Well in most of my classes we just talked about expectations, syllabus, yada yada yada
I have a reading assignment in my philosophy class…plato…it’s gonna take some getting used to.
ummm…OH, in my math class, we are taught by a TA every other day and the real teacher does lectures on the other days. The TA that teaches my class is…a little slow. Kind of like Forest Gump. NOT even trying to be mean but that’s the truth…he definately knows what HE’S doing…but he’s not much help to the rest of us in the explanation department. Oh well…i’ll just have to get a tutor, i guess.
oh yea, and I had my first argument (or rather, debate) with my roommates about what temperature the thermastat should be on.
welp!..that was MY week… :)

My classes don’t start for a week, I do not even move in until Saturday, but I am excited for my 2nd year!!

Disorganized!!! Missed classes because of our earthquake and hurricane. Only one class is hard though because the teacher isn’t actually teaching. We have to read the calculus book and show up ‘ready.’ Not sure how well that’s going to work…

Grueling so far, not a good sign. I had a couple professors that emailed a week in advance with reading assignments because the class already had a quiz at the end of first lecture. Of course, a lot of students didn’t bother to check their email, so, lots of complaining in class. The biology lab started right into experiments with no explanation because that also was preassigned through email. Once again, a lot of students that didn’t read the chapter, so lots of mumbling and complaining which was distracting.
I have statistics and calculus homework due in 2 days and class just started on Monday. Crazed zealot music teacher started class off with 5 quizzes and 2 listening charts due in 2 days… My chemistry class is a hybrid which doesn’t meet until Friday, but, has two homework assignments to bring in to the first lecture and must have already completed lab orientation online. How much you want to bet that no one else did that either?

I’ve studied 24 out of the last 36 hours and I’m still not through any of my maths. That was just to get ready for biology, chemistry and music appreciation.

I’m hoping next week goes better because this week is not going great so far.

LOTS of work, but I suppose I’m doing alright. Only problem is that my Mondays and Wednesdays are PACKED and I can’t do a single thing other than study, go to class, do homework, and go to work on those days.

I haven’t even been to class yet (starts Friday) but I’ve been in my apartment for over two weeks now…my body can’t really take so much partying lol, I need to slow down.

I don’t start for another 23 days.

In the middle of my first week now and i’ve been to each of my classes at least once. I dropped one class because I didn’t need it and I decided to stick with my original plan and just do 15 credits this semester. I’ve gotten the feel for each of my classes and I can already tell that I chose well. 4 of my classes i’m positive i’ll get an A in as long as I read and keep track of my assingments. The last one might end up being a bit challenging, but I know i can at least get a C in it. Considering how much writing we have to do i’m envisioning a B.

raise your hand if youre faded

^
Lol… I wish I will be when I move in 3 weeks from now. The wait is so long!

8:30 am graduate level EE class twice a week kind of sucks = too much math/science too early! (although I like the course)
Otherwise peachy?

holy **** I don’t even remember posting that. god damn.

pretty okay start to the week on Monday, Tuesday was fine too until I popped open the beer. so glad I only have one class today, and it’s at 2. I am never doing that again.

My Tues and Thursdays are PACKED. Class from 8 AM to 5:30 PM…so exhausting, but it gives me something to do so it’s nice. I usually get extra work done and relax on Mon, Wed, Fri since I only have one class from 1:25-2:30. Workload is pretty manageable; it’s just that a lot of the assignments are very spread out so it’s pretty hectic trying to plan out when to do this or that and such.

Greatest week of my life!

It went okay. The second I dropped Calculus, it instantly got a million times better, though. I’ll be glad when the semester is over, though. That way, I’ll never have to think about General Chemistry ever again. Gah, it sucks so much!

1st day of class was today (first day of my last year at college!) My morning professor is a hot, young Brazilian dude (yes, I am super excited to wake up to his face every morning lol), then I worked and went to my 2nd class (boring but whatever). I may or may not have drank excessively most days this week

@meShannon,

I hate math/science classes so much. I was going to take Calculus with Analytic Geometry but I dropped it because I could not stand the teacher for an entire semester. Science sucks, too, but I am taking a Bio class. At my school, you need 6 general math credits and 9 general science credits-both suck. I’m getting on the science first and I plan on taking Statistics for next semester. I might do summer classes to get the gen eds out of the way…

@fa-la-la-lena,

Yes! It’s very nice waking up and watching a hottie teach class first thing in the morning! Unfortunately, none of my professors are really that hot…but, nevertheless, they are good professors!

Still hasn’t happened But band camp is going well. (:

Horrible. I haven’t made any friends at all. It seems like half my floor has turned into one big group of friends, and the other half is never here. No one in my classes speaks to anyone else either.
Everyone already seems to have a ton of close friends already and I’ve met no one. I have no idea where or how to meet people.
My classes themselves seem like they’ll be interesting though. I wish I could add another class but it’ll put me over the credit limit and I’ll have to pay around $600 for each extra credit, which I can’t afford right now.
