I need some good ol motivation. Very recently, the amount of care towards school has been at an all time low. I've gone from getting panicked about having A-'s to being disappointed but unusually okay with 3 B's. My laziness is the biggest reason why nothing gets done. Anyways, enough about myself. What's YOUR inspiration to do well?

So I won’t be homeless. That’s what happens to those who don’t have A’s.

But really…personal satisfaction.

Competition with my friends. I hate to be the bottom of the barrel, and it feels wickedly sweet when I get an A on something my friend gets an 89.3% on.

I don’t have much motivation. I went from having all As and a B last year, to having some As and Bs. I started working, then got too tired to care about doing school work. Definitely not working next year, which sucks, because senior year (from what I’ve heard) doesn’t matter much to the eyes of colleges. But, I don’t want to go into college being as lazy as I am right now U.U""

I usually read a lot of science news, or watch science-related shows to get me excited about pursuing a career in science. You have to have discipline and be persistent, so that usually drives me to work.

Going to a good college so I can live a decent life and initially my family strongly encouraged me but now I’m more so intrinsically motivated along with competition with friends

Sex. Everything comes down to sex.

Get good grades in high school.

Get into a good college.

Graduate from good college.

Get a high paying job.

Use money to woo the ladies.

???

Profit.

My future. My vary vague future. But I’m close to screaming and flopping on the floor. Then I remember summer is almost here!

Hahahaha best answer award goes to Kongo

I agree with Kongo.

One line I’ve always used is: “I do my homework so that my future wife can be at least a 7.”

Not that I want a gold digger, nor do I think I’ll be rich enough to have a gold-digging woman, but still. A good, stable job is always good.

Personal satisfaction.

Just thinking about all the underprivileged people around the world who would do anything to be in my place and receive an education.

I want a good, stable job in the future.

I’ll be honest: I’m a shy, quiet person and it’s so funny to see the looks on people’s faces when they underestimate my skills.
