Well now, like always, I am drowning in schoolwork. If your are too, I want to know how you deal with so much work. What's your motivation? Do you have some special plan to get it done? I'm curious.

My motivation is to get a good grade so I can raise my crappy GPA and get into the college of my dreams where I won’t have to deal with these ‘lovely’ people at my school any longer.

My motivation is basically the fact that you’re either a nerd or popular kid in high school, and what’s a nerd without good grades?

I finished my graduation requirements last year, so right now I’m only taking classes in subjects that appeal(ed) to me.
I’m doing all this because I want to end up with an education, partially so I can impress people and partially because it’s fun to know stuff.

@Haly
Totally true. It is fun to know stuff. Especially things that you love :3

I always strive for my goals. Regardless if they change or not, I remind myself that there’s something that I need to accomplish. I also remind myself of my personal aptitude. I’m a nerd- or as so I classify myself and how other people think of me as. I just need to learn how to believe in myself more and to put in more effort.

I’m two spots in class rank away from top ten percent (18/166). My school only considers 7th semester GPA to determine who graduates as a part of the top 10% and it’s integral to be in the top ten percent to get state grants for college.

Some classes I’m totally motivated to work for just because I like the material. Constitutional Law, Biotech, and AP Physics are the main three. Learning for these classes is fun, not a chore.

No idea how I’ll get motivated for my 5 other classes in the second semester, lmao.

Sex.

Let me backtrack.

Get good grades in high school.

Get into a good college.

Get good grades in college.

Get a high paying job.

???

Profit.

My ego won’t let me do poorly relative to my friends. The ego is a good motivator.

well my parents would basically skin me alive if i got a bad grade so

when i got a c in physics last year, my mom was like “your father and i can’t even look at you right now.” and she didn’t talk to me for like week. except that was awesome and didnt have the intended effect

@Repede: lol that was great
@clementines16: haha yeah me too, my parents would be really mad
@bailey: I know exactly how you feel, some classes I love and some classes I absolutely abhor!

Senior Prom. I’m usually not into school functions, but for me it’s kinda symbolic. By then, I’ll know where I’m going to college, I’ll have played my last concert at my high school, and all my AP tests will be over. It’s literally the Friday after the tests and concert. For classes, I’ll only have a health class and what might be some of the best electives I can take at my high school with my favorite teachers. By senior prom, I can relax.

Then after that, kicking butt at college, med school, and becoming a doctor. :)

@mynameismott I feel you bro
