big gap

Harvard
Columbia

90% of these rankings have personal bias :)

very objectively/based on prestige, it goes (& this is how an outsider would view them):
- Harvard (top dog, 100% name recognition)
- Yale (100% name recognition)
- Princeton (100% name recognition)
(here is the breaking point, it’s now a hit or miss. a normal person on the street may/may not recognize the name) - Columbia (80% name recognition)
- Dartmouth (70-80% name recognition)
- Brown (70% name recognition, seriously I told someone that I was applying here, and she was like “there’s a school called brown?”)
- Cornell (50% name recognition. some people have no idea about this school. this student at my school who is applying to Yale said, “is that in the ivy league too?”)
- Penn (30% name recognition. sorry Penn, great school, but often confused with Penn state)

who agrees?
