<p>How is Vista running on the T61 green? Did you need to run a clean install before it worked at all? Did you need to update any drivers, etc, or does ThinkVantage take care of that? I'm apprehensive about Vista because a lot of people are saying their ThinkPad repeatedly crashes or goes to the blue screen of death. </p>

<p>How much battery life are you getting out of the 6-cell?</p>

<p>battery is not even a battery at all. If you want MINIMUM performance, it will last about 3 hours. high performance would last like 1 hour 30-50 minutes. I bought one from ebay. I am now replacing it with another because the lcd was of a different model. I will get DVD RW and 160 GB HDD. But the system runs fine. Vista is really heavy, so make sure you h ave 2GB memory MINIMUM.</p>
