What are the "safety" schools you're applying to (if any)? How did you decide which one?

My public school?

my current school. I'm already in!

We may be relocating to a different country, and my safety is a really competitive IB school. We have highest SAT in Asia. woo (Not as if it matters much) =)

My safety school is Tabor. I chose it for it's location and the fact that I have a unique hook there.

I have no safety...Go big or go home (aka my current private school)

NMH or my public school.

my public school or a day school i'm applying for.

MSSM or Fryeburg Academy

It really isn't safe to say that I have a safety school...
Not to be pessimistic, but you never know where you'll get rejected.
so my current school! :/

Peddie :D first choice is andover.

i did a private day school in my town. mostly everyone gets accepted to it. (have already been accepted so i'm all set :D)
choose a place where you'll be happy at. that's all that matters.

My current school (Private Day) which is a pretty good school

My safety is my current public high school...no matter what happens with bs, it, my senior schedule, and the same people will be there. I'm not quite sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!

My sons current public school or a private day school that's 45 minutes away!

honestly I do not think that any BS could be considered a safety. Almost all prep schools have acceptance rates below 50%, many of them below 30%. PEDDIE and NMH, I don't think that you guys should consider those schools safeties. They are both very good schools with low acceptance rates. Dont jinx yourselves guys.

I don't think that any pep school is a safety. Most prep schools have acceptance rates below 50% and many hvae acceptance rates below 30%. NMH and PEDDIE should not be considered safeties for anyone! DON"T JINX YOURSELVES GUYS!

NMH is only a safety in the sense that its a tiny bit easier to get into than Chaote or Andover or Exeter, the other three I'm applying to. My real safety is my public school.

Yah Saer...

for you it's a safety! For almost everyone else, it is not.

Depends who "everyone" is. I think, for the majority of CC ppls they would be considered safeties but almost definitely not for the average applicant. I mean near everyone on here has 90+ ssat, 3.8+ GPA, ect. it's just the nature of the CC
