What's your typical school outfit?

When I go to school, I usually dress like this.

http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2009/11/24/alg_costume_lady-gaga_rihanna.jpg

Since we can’t wear jeans or t-shirts [printed ones, anyway] here like we could in middle school, I’ve have to buy new clothes. I prefer stores like J.Crew, Urban Outfitters, Rugby and Abercrombie&Fitch, but those can be pretty expensive so I supplement with Gap and such too.

-sundresses
-skirts
-button ups or cardigans
-shorts
-barefoot as much as possible, flip flops when i have to wear shoes [as soon as the bell rings, i walk outside and take off my shoes on the way to the library or dining hall. i have been barefoot in every building except for the science center  but those were mostly during exam week]

or, if zee weather is cold
-various sweaters and cardigans and a few shirts and blouses with
-a wool mini skirt&tights/cords/black or grey jeans OR
-a sweater dress&tights
-with either flats [if the snow’s melted a bit or i it’s fall or early spring], uggs, or my bean boots
-either my plaid barbour coat or my black north face jacket
-maybe a hat or scarf

^ OMG, I LOVE J.Crew! Their dresses are so pretty.

tops: slim t, polo, tank, strapless shirts with sweaters, t-shirts, jackets, and I LOVE hoodies. t-shirt like crop tops as well…but while in school, we are required to wear a cami under.

bottom: skinny jeans ftw, skirts, shorts

I will wear some dresses…but…meh

It doesn’t matter to me…as long as it’s cute and comfy.

ha…we have that rule too! Except, I * never * get caught. Also, our shoulders are not supposed to show…but it is rare when someone gets into trouble because of that…

We have that rule too, but it’s pretty much void if you’re wearing tights or leggings under. The rule applies to shorts, too, but honestly all but one teacher don’t really care as long as you look nice and presentable and won’t scare away people who are touring.

^My old school doesn’t enforce that rule either. I actually saw a girl wearing a tight red dress (that barely went down to her thighs) and matching red high heels. I don’t comprehend how some students are able to walk up and down stairs in heels.

I just wear my pajamas. At my old school though, I’d typically wear jeans, a short-sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt.

I like red dresses…but I don’t wear anything too fancy to school…um…my school attempts to enforce the rule…yet I rarely get caught. I have to come to terms with why that is though. A few of my friends have gotten caught before though…not with dresses, but with shorts that were a tad too short.

A polo shirt and khakis.

Basketball shorts and a T shirt.

I dress in very varying ways. Always a bit nicer than most. I don’t ever wear jeans and t-shirts because I don’t feel comfortable in them.

In warmer weather, I commonly wear a tan jacket. In the winter, I have one brighter colored one and one white one. I wear skirts frequently, in the winter with panty hose or panty hose and tights over (to have a different color). I mostly wear boots or booties, black or brown, some high-heeled, some flat, when it’s cold while I mostly stick to flats with the exceptions of a few very colorful suede tennis shoes and heels when they match.
I was very in to the waist belt style before it was popular here, as early as about 2005. But I usually used and use scarfs or belts of a regular width, since I think it’s more varied. Scarves are some of the most useful accessories to have in one’s arsenal, in my estimation. Speaking of particular pieces, I consider an Hermes scarf, or one of similar quality and size, which can function as a belt, a hood, a shirt, or even an actual scarf, a worthwhile investment.
