My school has required uniforms up until this coming year (YAY!!) which means I have some shopping to do for more "regular clothes." All of you who don't wear uniforms, what's your usual outfit? This question is for girls and guys because I want to know the "style" not just specific pieces. Thanks!

Polo Tee or any T-Shirt, sweatshirt in colder months, Khakis/Athletic Shorts/Jeans in Colder Months, Sperrys/NewBalanceShoes.

Jeans and a shirt. My style is nonexistent.

Jeans and polo.

Next year, more collared shirts with more trousers.

T-Shirts, Sweaters, Polos, Khakis, Chinos, Jeans. That about covers it.

Camo cap, john deere t shirt, camo jacket(during winter), blue jeans with confederate belt, and cowboy boots

^camo jackets are out of style, does carhart mean anything to you?

On the real, I like to sleep in so my outfits are usually noncute. I actually just throw on jeans and a t-shirt. I like hoodies too but since I’m Rapunzel my hair gets annoying so I have to throw it up in a bun.

Sometimes when I’m feeling spiffy I wear a cute top or a skirt or something

A polo shirt. I get to choose between 4 colors. Ooh, exciting!
Navy, khaki, or black bottoms that are of the appropriate length.
Shoes with an enclosed heel and toe.
No “excessive amounts of jewelry or makeup”

I get free dress once a month but the “free dress” rules are extremely strict. There is an entire page in the student handbook devoted to free dress day attire in the Upper School. My favorite quote from that page? “No obscenely short skirts or any other clothing that may portray the student in an unfavorable light. It really is just a matter of decorum.”

^ My school’s rule for skirts is that they have to extend further down than your hands when standing upright. Girls in my school must have really short arms.

^^^ haha futurexecutive, I am really curious as to how hot you are, cuz you sure as hell don’t sound like one.

^ I can’t tell if you’re being serious (specifically in reference to the confederate belt. And also the creepiness).

In the warmer months, I wear a button down or polo shirt with shorts of various colors. Rainbows or Sperrys on the feet.

In the colder months, I wear button downs with a sweater and some khakis or jeans. I wear moccasins or just plain sneakers.

^ i’m sure nobody wears confederate belt in Colorado, but in Kentucky it’s a different story.

futurexecutive, I prefer camo jacket since it’s more functional and useful during hunting after school.

^^^Because she dresses comfortably and doesn’t wear the normal (or at least normal at my school) skirts that are so short, you can spot a tampon string once a month? Okay.
lol…

I was joking I don’t really wear carhart or any other farming gear

I approve of said skirts.

^^^^ Colorado is not the Keystone State.

And I was kidding (mostly).

^my bad. I thought it was; I was thinking of keytone youth policy summit.

Also, I was joking in my previous post. I don’t wear said outfits such as camo jacket and john deere shirt.

Sweetie, obviously only men replied to your post. I just recently began going to a public school from a private school my whole life last year. If you want to be “normal” do what I did and wear Abercrombie and Fitch, and such, wearing alot of tees, polos, and mostly jeans. I then realized that by wearing that everyday proved nothing about my individuality. So I began wearing dresses and skirts everyday. I began dressing the way I will one day, when you are an adult looking for a job one day will you go in wearing a polo or even a camo hat? Good luck with what you need to wear!

Haha! JerseyGirl, that is the same rule at my school. They have to reach your middle finger when you have your arms straight at your side.

Most girls stand with their shoulders up to their ears during uniform checks. It’s ridiculous

@Nomita- Lmao, wow

tees&jeans(hollister or pacsun), vans or moccasins. can’t get away with skirts or shorts at my school
