Hi guys,

I'm down to two small liberal arts schools. They both cost about the same, because of the financial aid, so that is a non-issue. These are the only two, unfortunately, that I can afford at the time. I liked Wheaton because of their emphasis on internships, but everyone I've talked to people from Beloit that thought the education was top notch. Does anyone have any insight on the two--academically?

Thank you.

I took a professional visit to Wheaton and was impressed with their first-year program. In other areas Beloit likely has an edge. That said, the two schools have different student cultures; I’d go where you think you’ll fit in best.

I suspect that the differences in academics aren’t going to be the big unless its some specific program that you’re interested in. Like Lynxinsider says, focus of the student cultures, at small schools it can make a big difference.
