i got into 4 colleges so far.. and im still waiting on 7 more..ughh
and money is a very important factor that determines which school i will attend.
my question is, should i accept the offer of admission to get the financial aid information such as work study, scholarship, need based grants and so on..?
i thought im supposed to get the information on them soon..
but ihavent gotten any of them from the schools that i got into.

Usually it is posted on the FA site of the school, but sometimes it is hard to find. I think April 1st is the latest most colleges send it out. We are waiting for 5 or 6 ourselves…it is hard.

You should be getting the FA info soon. You’ll get it before you have to make your final choice.

I got 3 so far out of 11 schools.

You do not have to accept admission to get notified about financial aid but if you do accept a decision you can also decline only if you decided on no longer attending. One of the schools I’ve recieved aid offer I did mistakenly accept admission months ago, though I may not have to decline as there is a high chance I can be attending the school this fall… the school stated as others online that your able to decline admission offer after an acceptance.

I think its important that after you view you award you accept or decline admission. Then it gives other waitlisted a chance. I declined my URI package right.
