ACCEPTED for ag business along with a few of my friends at my school!!! but my friends doing english and business havent heard back!

Yeah looks like agriculture went out… I’m civil engineering and I haven’t heard back yet.

31 ACT 4.15W GPA 3.75UW

I’ve heard that CP releases decisions based on alphabetical order of majors. This would explain why Ag. related majors are coming out first. Business/Bio should be coming out soon too, hopefully :)

Software Engineering here, no response yet.

1980 SAT ( 1410 two part ), 4.4W GPA, out of state

fpsconor ur stats suck…i surely hope you arent expecting to get in…

@balling916 Interesting…

@zier9993 LOL go away ■■■■■ :)

hes a friend from my HS…it was just a joke lol

k lololololol

If cal poly releases by alphabetical order, then wouldn’t architecture be coming soon?

Environmental management and protection was the first acceptance posted, so I think it’s by college. All acceptances posted here so far have been in the College of Agriculture.

So is it true that you will get notification of acceptance earlier if you applied earlier in november?

If you do NOT get accepted, do they tell you at the same time as the people who got accepted or do they tell you later on??

I understand they are releasing acceptances for the college of agriculture and my major is animal science, but my portal say "no decision had been made at this time. I’m a nervous wreck over here!!

Ralph4,

Congratulations! Will this be your third time around as a Cal Poly parent! Go Mustangs!

Thanks, 2leashes. Yes it is the third. The oldest graduated in August 2011 (Materials Engineering), and I have a 3rd year philosopy major there now. Son #3 is excited to begin in the fall!

Ralph,

You were a big help here to my friend whose son is in Materials Engineering (class of 2014). Our kids both were freshmen in 2010. Hard to believe their sophomore year will be over before we know it. And, you get to start all over again! If your younger son decides to apply and gets in, you’ll definitely be an old hand! :)

I think it goes by biggest majors first, then smallest majors last. Or maybe some other system.

Any bio majors get accepted yet?

Here’s a link to the 2011 Freshman profile…Engineering appears to be the largest major with Agriculture the second largest. So not sure why Ag is first to announce.
