@ cententinnial13 - we received our notice of acceptance in California yesterday. Who knows with the USPS these days. Good luck.

Everyone gets a letter. Just means Postal Service has delayed the process somehow. Son should have gotten yesterday. We live in NC. But P.0. said it went to the wrong hub and had to be rerouted. GOOD LUCK!

I’m definitely seeing a trend here that
most accepted interviewed. Wish we
had done better homework on that.
Son will likely be attending Michigan. Best of luck
To you all!

@Osserpusser - I think there are always some exceptions, but you are probably correct.

The Wake admissions page makes it VERY clear that the interview is “strongly recommended”. Our college counselor told our kids that when a college states that (and many do about various things – interviews, subject tests, etc.) it would behoove you to do it as it could certainly count against you. Just some FYI for future applicants!

I got accepted and I didn’t interview

@swhite definitely our fault for not reading that. Wake got on our list via our GC. The moral of the story? Educate yourself about what a school wants!

@Woody93: still nothing, hopefully it comes today, otherwise the USPS is just messing with me
I’m getting anxiety attacks
What part of California do you live in?

Never mind
Got my acceptance today!!(:

I live in Georgia and I still haven’t gotten a letter… I haven’t gotten one from American either.

Just wanted to say: although there are many people who are accepted without an interview, it is DEFINITELY beneficial to do an interview. Wake highly values the interview as a critical part of admissions. There are exceptions to every rule, but if you are interested in Wake, doing an interview is important!

@Osserpusser: I’m sorry about your son, but Michigan is a great school so it seems as if it has worked out for him Congratulations.
