When are grades due? when do teachers who had no finals but instead had things do in week ten usually post grades?

grades are due when the teachers want to turn them in.

suffice it to say that theyll be up on myucla by the end of spring break sometime.
i refuse to believe that there's a concrete deadline, considering the other 'deadlines' that the school levies on us.

My friend just got her grade for math class this morning on my.ucla...

...she took her final yesterday.

well math is fairly subjective. you get it right or not... was it MC? or in any case, the answers would have been easier to grade than english or history or anthropology or whatnot.
wants anthro final back

I guess....a part of the test was MC.

well i am not going to get it that fast but i am sure there is some day.

i have a 17page sociology papere, a 7 page film paper, and 7 page final i just wrote this morning.

Sociology class is very small so i have no idea what is taking so long.

yikes...carpal tunnel anyone? =/

It can take forever. I found this out once when I waited so long for a grade that I actually got a NR for "Not Reported" on my DPR.

I too would be intersted in knowing if there actually was a "deadline."

My Math professor and the TAs graded our midterm II in 4 -5 hours. The exam was done at 10AM, she taught another class until 11, and the scores were on MyUCLA by 3PM.

I have a feeling it's going to be the same way with the final.

On the other hand, Prof. Baugh can take up to three weeks or more to finalize grades.

Technically, I think that grades are supposed to be in within 10 days of the final, but processing them can take a while.

Keep in mind that it's not only the time that it takes the professor and his TAs to get the grades done, but also how long Murphy takes to put them into the system.

well professors will post on my.ucla anywas, so i dont really care how long it takes murphy as long as they have to grade within 10 days of final its all i good i guess b/c my.ucla will show it

Not all professors utilize MyUCLA, unfortunately. I've always believed that it should be mandatory...but then again I don't have tenure.

i'm just happy getting my grades before the next quarter....

i'm not one to sit in front of a screen and obsess about what i got.
i wouldn't be able to enjoy break otherwise.

this changes of course, if one is in danger of failing a class.

well, i want to join college honors, so i want to know.

i sense that someone's bitter about not being able to enroll...haha

yes and i want to STAY in college honors lol. right now i don't have a 3.5... so i need it by the end of spring quarter.
anyone know if they seriously kick people out of it for their GPAs?
and on a slightly unrelated note... when do we sign up for fall classes?
and i reaaaaally want my anthro midterm back grr

You sign up for fall classes mid-spring quarter. Same (or close) timeframe as all other quarters...

sweet!! ^_^
