When are mid-term reports due by? My school won't come out with an upgraded class rank/GPA for maybe a month should I worry?

they are due "when midyear senior grades are available (end of first semester or second trimester)."

I thought that if you were accepted ED that you did not have to turn in midyear reports only your final transcript. Did something change?

im assuming they only ask for your final transcipt because if they did require your mid term, they would have inquired you by now. Right?

I just called Admissions and they said, yes, ED'ers must send in Mid-Year Report (which does seem a little strange, IMO).

ps -- TJ: why don't you send in an e-mail and see if you receive the same response....Inquiring Minds Want to Know....hahaha

mid year report is for regular decision and early decision deferrals.

oh well, my son just sent one to his guidance counselor anyway.

thanks, wb -- saves our GC some extra paperwork. When my S called, he made it clear that he was an ED acceptee, but maybe the person who answered was unclear....

I e-mailed admissions:

"Do I need to send in a Mid-Year Report if I was admitted early into the Class of 2010?

Thanks,
Jim"

They responded:

"Dear Jim,

Thank you for your message. Yes, we ask all applicants to submit a Mid-Year School Report.

Sincerely,
Shelley
Undergraduate Admissions Office"

but i didnt do that well so I guessed if they didn't send me any letter requesting a mid year, I shouldn't send it. My strategy is try to raise my final transcript. Early in the year, I was too wrapped up in many competitions and social activities that I didn't devote enough time to my work in school.

So should we send them or not? I didn't (of course, our grades still aren't out) and haven't gotten a letter.

I know Im not, only sending my final transcript. Since Dartmouth never asked me to, I might as well not

You must send your final transcript as proof that you graduated from high school.
