<p>Did anyone get their letter yet? None here yet in MN, but I figured it would be 3 or 4 days before it gets here.</p>

<p>But did anyone else receive the plastic-enclosed brochure about “Life After SLC” or something and addressed to our parents?</p>
<p>We received plastic covered brochure a few weeks ago, and we have not heard anything from the school. We are in Chicago.</p>
<p>I also received the plastic brochure. Is that some kind of hint? I live in Boston, and still haven’t heard back yet.</p>
<p>Getting the brochure is only a “hint” if there are applicants who did not get the brochure, and thus far no one has acknowledged this, so it’s hard to judge.</p>

<p>Meh, doesn’t seem like I’m attending. For what it’s worth, I really think SLC is an amazing college. I just wish someone could donate it a billion dollars so that it could enrich its programs (though even right now they’re pretty darn fantastic), expand its facilities, and have more money for financial aid. I really appreciate that they tried, though, but I seriously doubt that they would send an email magically saying that my need is going to be fully met.</p>

<p>Still nothing here in the midwest. I would have thought we’d hear by today one way or the other. Pretty sure it’ s a no at this late date, but no news is still…well, no news I guess! Where are you guys located who have heard recently by snail mail?</p>
<p>Fat envelope arrived for D in NYC today!! Now just waiting for her to come home to open it.</p>
<p>Daughter got her “fat” envelope here in Seattle… It was the last one we’ve been waiting for… Now, I just have to wait for her to get home from school and open it to see if we can afford it. 
Incidentally, we did receive the see-through envelope and emails a few weeks ago- but nothing until the acceptance came today.</p>

<p>Got the big envelope and the Dean’s Scholarship, but still not enough money. sigh</p>
<p>@NervousWreck, I just got my big fat envelope today and I live really close to SLC. With the holiday weekend I think a lot of their letters got delayed because it seems people are hearing in waves. Keep the faith. The late notice is probably due to a delay because of the holiday weekend. That’s what happened to me.</p>
<p>I got my big envelope in MN today! My letter was dated march 29. Pleasantly surprised by the financial aid package, but it still might not be enough since their tuition is so expensive. Also, I don’t remember ever receiving the brochure you guys are talking about, but I may be wrong. I really don’t think it’s a hint at acceptance though.</p>
