When did you apply and How Long did it take you to get a response?

<p>I just submitted my applicant to UMich today. hafiajf;lisjf;ij!</p>

<p>My teacher and counselor recs have not been submitted yet but likely will in the next 2 weeks, everything was done online. </p>

<p>I'm trying to get a gauge on how long it will likely be until I hear back, I figured what better source than CC!?</p>

<p>So when you applied to UMich...</p>

<p>Were you instate or out of state?
did you apply online?
what month did you apply in?
about how long until you got a response?</p>

<p>I understand that it's different for everybody, but I'm really interested! Thanks for the response (you can respond for people you know too!)</p>

<p>I'm interested too. My teacher and counselor recs were submitted yesterday, and I submitted my app today. I still have to mail in my transcript so I'd say it'll be all said and done by next week. I'm anxious. Although Michigan isn't my first choice, it's good to know that I should have a decision by November, so I can at least hold that over all my friend's heads.</p>

<p>ah! i am finishing my application tonight, i gave my counselor the form, and am not meeting with my teacher for my rec until monday. but by the end of the next week i'll be all applied!</p>

<p>just curious, what school are you applying too? it's weird we could be future classmates.</p>

<p>Well i applied for transfer just last week. I should hear by mid to late october. I know we have a turnaround of about 6-8 weeks. depends if you applied (assuming your gonna be frosh) early response or not. it is said that you will hear in april at the latest, i believe, if you did regular admissions. good luck</p>

<p>i applied last year october 31 [the early response deadline]</p>

<p>got a letter december 19th or so saying i was deferred.</p>

<p>got a letter about april 20th-ish saying i wasn't getting in.</p>

<p>my son applied LSA with preferred admit to Ross. He got his application in by the end of september and heard very quickly. Not sure if it was late October or early November, but it was quick. He was accepted to LSA but did not hear from Ross until 4/15, via email, at 4 pm. He was accepted preferred Ross.</p>

<p>I forgot...he applied online and we are out of state.</p>
