when do classes officially start for fresmen?

i'm overseas right now in another continent for the summer, and am worried i might still be lightly jet lagged as classes begin...
usually it takes me about 3~6 days to brush it off completely. (yeah, i'm slow...)

i know we have orientation& signups in about 10 days (holy cow)
but when do actually classes start?

Technically, it’s the 25th, which is that Wednesday.

Though, IMHO, classes won’t really teach much of anything important til the following Monday.

the worst thing about first day of classes is introductions…

lol ice breakers
They gonna make you do them for like 10 days o.0

Wednesday…same day as anyone else. But you have orientation week to help you recover. Me, I’ll be denying the campus the gift of my presence until as late as possible :)

It’s not like they are going to give you hardcore exams on the first day, relax. You’ll be fine.

Besides, 90% of the people in your classes will still be hungover and recovering from o-week, so you’re probably all on the same page anyway.

I find it interesting that classes resume for the spring semester on January 24.

Why is that?

because Winter =/= Spring?
or because we have a full month for Winter Break?

What? I know Winter isn’t Spring, but how could this be an answer to my question?

hes obviously asking the person you were confused by to clarify what he originally asked

wow i remembe those ice breaks during my freshman yr. so bad and stupid… i didn’t remember a single name. every name just vanished from my head within 3 seconds of hearing it
