Hi Everyone,

The title pretty much explains it all. I was accepted this year EA, but have yet to receive any notice or letter regarding financial aid... I've received several letters since my acceptance from different departments (music, someone from SFS, etc.), but nothing for financial aid. Does anyone know from years past: do we get our award notices about the same time that RD students do? Or, should I call? ...or something else that I'm not thinking about?

Thanks so much for the help.

B

I think we get them at the same time RDers do, so we should be receiving them in the next 7-9 days

While I am just a parent whose kid isn't applying for financial aid, I will tell you that the deadline to submit all fi-aid documents for Georgetown was Feb 1. All financial aid awards are delivered with regular decision letters and so, I assume while you won't get another letter of admission, you will get your award.

Georgetown says it is need blind and meets 100% of demonstrated need. Of course, that part is up to them to truly decide what that number might be. Just remember that if you really want to attend the school, there is no shame in trying to get them to up their numbers. Might be harder this year than in year's past, but the worst they can say is there is "no."

To the original poster: Do you have a book? Do you know how to read? Then open up your book to find the answer!!

let's not be rude . . . the financial decisions will be mailed at the end of the month (weekend of March 27th), so you should hear soon after.

it's really okay. I'm positive the original poster knows what I'm talking about.
