When do FA offers come out?

For most people, not Affirmative Action/Special Cases. I need to know my FA award soon/if I got one because I need to decide within the next few weeks if I'm going here or not.

they already came out

Yes but I forgot to mention something. My FA application was incomplete until 2 days ago (according to Umich's website), should I wait a week then call it final? If nothign shows up does that mean I got no FA? Or will FA show up as "no FA".

bump, really need to know what i should be seeing in the financial aid offers page...

1st off...check the "View Financial Aid Document Status" to see if they are requesting/waiting for something. They wont complie you FA offer if you have missing items.

If all that is complete or is nothing is requested....check the "View Financial Aid Award Summary" and see what it says.

yeah, they got my missing item 2 days ago (27)

when I view the award summary all I see is my Regents Merit scholarship for 1500, does this mean i received no need-based FA?

Go to the "Student Business" link from the wolverine access page.

Then click "Financial Aid"

See what step that you currently are on. And look at step 3 and see what it says.

Ah i just tried that but because I haven't matriculated I can't log in to student business.

Never mind I got it, about 9000 per year, pretty good I guess

BTW a "direct loan" doesn't mean I have to pay it off, right?

Direct loan just means that it comes directly from the government instead of a "middle man" (ie bank). You pay it off starting 6 months after graduation.

never mind 10char
