When do I apply for college? What month? Can I use first semester senior grades?

<p>Hello! So it looks like I'll be finishing junior year with a 3.1 or 3.2 UW cumulative. My gpa over the years has been a steady 3.0. As and Bs. However, my dream school is UCLA and I know I need to raise my gpa in order to be considered. My first question is -- when do I apply for college? My second question is -- can I use 1st semester senior grades? I'm a good student, I have great relationships with my teachers, I'm going to get recs from them, I'm going to write an awesome essay, I've written novels and published 2, and I'm studying like no other for the act. My gpa is my weakness. </p>

<p>They don’t consider 12th grade GPA to admit students. However, you must maintain good GPA after being admitted.</p>

<p>You may consider taking classes in community colleges in the junior year summer to boost your GPA.</p>
