I did both the SSA and Fry Scholars. I’ve already gotten 6K from Hudson and Holland. When do students usually find out about the rest of the money?
In previous years it’s been in late February and early March for SSA. I would guess Fry Scholars would be a similar time frame.
I also applied for the Fry. I got an email today saying they were reviewing my credentials and would be releasing the decisions on a rolling basis. And we would hear by April 15th.
We attend the scholars reception in Chicago and were told we would hear SSA by March 1st? Anyone hear anything yet? S was hoping for a hutton honors scholarship.
The FAQs on the Hutton honors college page says, “Your scholarship application, as well as those of hundreds of other applicants, will be carefully evaluated by our Scholarship Review Committee and our Assistant Dean. Award letters and denials will be mailed beginning March 1st.” I wasn’t able to turn in my SSA until two weeks after the recommended date of December 1st, so hopefully I still get one. :-??
DS returned from Kelley Direct Admit Day and received a letter today from Hutton Honors. IU is making his decision more difficult…in a good way. 
Also received the Hutton Honors scholarship letter yesterday but not what we were hoping to hear.
Received the Hutton Honors scholarship letter in the mail yesterday, and Herbet Presidential Scholarship letter also, IU is sounding really good now
