<p>So usually I can find what I want to know on CC/online without much searching...but I just can't find this information this time...</p>
<p>I heard that the Caltech EA comes out at 3 PM ET, 12/10/11 and that MIT was going to come out on 12/23/11 or something ridiculously late like that. I have no idea where people got this information, but I was hoping someone could confirm/tell me (and countless others)?</p>

<p>MIT will probably come out in ~1 week or so, if they keep with tradition. They will probably announce in a blog post the exact decision date about a week before said date. CalTech generally releases a few days before MIT (last year it was noon EST on the Sunday before the Thursday on which MIT EA decisions were released). I don’t think they directly inform applicants as to specifically when decisions will be released - an e-mail will just appear your inbox. But, this is just my guess based on what has been done in the past, and it may or may not be different this year.</p>
<p>I can confirm CalTech (though I don’t know the exact timing).</p>
<p>For MIT, an upper bound on the date would be December 20th (based on what they spplied to Collegeboard). Since they usually announce the decisions date a week before, and the day they announce decisions this year is Monday 12/12, I’d guess 12/~19</p>
