Hey everybody, this is probably a stupid question but I'm new to these forums and just have a quick question. Does anyone know EXACTLY when early action decisions come out? Like, do they send the e-mail at midnoght on the 14th, or do we have to log into our MyMIT accounts? Sorry, but it's hard to find this specific information on the MIT blogs. Thank you all for your help! I love these CC discussions!

Last year they were on 12/16, and Matt McGann posted the decision date in a blog entry on 12/9. I imagine you’ll be getting your decision through decisions.mit.edu like last year.

To elaborate, the exact decision date won’t be known (even by the MIT admissions office) for perhaps another week or so. The decision date changes from year to year – it depends on the speed with which the admissions officers get through their selection committee in early December.

Keep an eye on the blogs in the next week or so, and the decision date will be announced.

Great! Thank you very much!
