<p>My add/drop period starts at 2PM, and I've been searching for classes before I can add them just to see what's open, but of the 2 I've looked for, there are no sections available. I'm wondering if that's only because add/drop only started this morning? Or will these classes always be full?</p>

<p>You must look constantly … several times a day. A class opens when someone else drops out and that seat comes available. Remember, others are also looking … so be ready to grab it if you see it. Sometimes we’ve found seats at 2am in the morning, as a lot of students are up late … so they think nothing of being on the computer then. Everyone’s jockying around to “clean up their schedules.” Welcome to the world of drop-add. Also, remember folks will drop the first week; they’ll go a class and decide “whoa! that’s not for me.” </p>

<p>Can you add a class that you already have on your schedule? I ask since they say that you should always add before you drop but one of my classes is at a very inconvenient time</p>
