<p>It's hard to wait until next week, I know, if you live outside of NYC area, but hang in there JUST A COUPLE MORE DAYS!!!</p>
<p>I live in the tri-state area and I got my acceptance from Barnard today. ^_^ For those curious, it's a large, fat envelope that's mailed by priority mail. You pretty much know you're accepted before you open it.</p>

<p>I live in Long Island but did not receive anything... Is that bad news for me? D=</p>
<p>hey me either, i live in new yorkk too, and i didnt recieve anything at all either, umm, i guess we still have monday to wait for..goshh..this is stressfull = /</p>
<p>Congrats to all you acceptees!! I am impatiently awaiting my letter in snowy Minnesota...this is sooo stressful!!</p>
<p>nothing as yet. and i live less than two hrs (by way of E train and 1 train)...
two of my brooklyn friends recieved stuff, my staten island friends didnt recieve anything either...</p>
<p>Priority mail doesn't have a guaranteed delivery time, so whether or not you get yours quickly can be due to something as simple as the schedule your postman follows on the route. However, the post office does try to deliver these within 2 days.... so most admitted students should get theirs by the end of the day on Monday. (Even so, those who live in more remote or rural areas may have to wait another day). </p>
<p>Anyway... no reason for panic yet, no matter where you live.</p>
<p>I hope that line in parenthasis isn't referring to me :)</p>
<p>ahh i had another nightmare. Today is going to be a bit hectic, since the mail does not come</p>
<p>they sent the letter to my father's house instead of my aunts house.
my dad said i can pick it up today.
he said it was a large envelope, prority mail, from barnard.</p>
<p>ill go crazy later when i have it in my hands but for now... i think its safe to assume that I GOT IN.</p>
<p>I'M SO NERVOUS.<br>
I won't even be home on Monday and I really don't want to know what it is until I'm physically there, so I'm hoping my mum can resist the urge to call me to reveal the size of the envelope (if it's even there at all).</p>

<p>I guess, but now I am very ahh I had been considering barnard for a while. Ill probably end up at NYU or Fordham. I could transfer but I dont change that much, if they didnt find a match in me now, they wont later lol. So congrats to everybody, best of luck =)</p>
