like if i submitted a regular decision application (deadline at january 1, 2011) several weeks before the deadline, would they start reviewing it or what they wait until closer to the deadline to start going over the applications?

bored some i’m bumping this non-thread

they start reviewing the regular decision appls that have come in as soon as they are done with early decision or early action decisions. It is advisable to not wait until the last minute, because the earlier applications may get a little more attention.

okay thanks for the reply

don’t worry, i don’t plan to wait until the last minute. i intend to get it done early…ish.

Obviously EA/ED apps currently have priority if your target schools have these. As for RD apps, they review those that are complete i.e. all school forms are in. Since you aren’t in control of that, all you can do is ensure your materials are in by the deadline.

bumpin…

… your curiosity about this info is strange. What diff does it make?

Also, you’ve not gotten any more replies because there’s not a different answer to be given.

you’re right. it doesn’t make a difference really. just wonderin cause it might’ve affected when i sent in my RD apps, but now it doesn’t really matter since i’ve already set out a schedule for myself.
