What do you guys think?

Early to Mid March? Thats just a guess though…

I could be wrong but I heard that last year they had them finalized on the 20th of March.

Assuming it’s the 20th this year as well, they then have a solid 9 days to sort through FA.

A friend of mine who is apply to Harvard has his (first) alumni interview scheduled for today. Just out of curiosity, is it likely that such a late interview will still be considered?
He’s in Oregon, if that makes a difference.

@classicgirll,

Don’t financial aid offices and admissions work separately until the admissions packages are assembled?

@batfan,
Sorry, I don’t have a legitimate source to back up my claims for RD. However, I heard that for SCEA, the financial aid office only assembled packages after admissions decisions were completed.

Waiting for admission decisions before financial aid work would only make sense, given the small percentage of acceptances. Basically applying a formula at that stage, so should be pretty fast.

@notakid,

I thought so too, but I posted a thread on CC about it, and people said that they work independently of each other.

Around the 15th to the 20th is typical. So another interview would very much be able to be brought to the table right now.
