decisions were released on the 14th. but did harvard say it would release them the 14th, or the 15th? cause if the latter was true, then this year we may pray for one day earlier till decisions come out

Harvard said it would release decisions on the 14th last year. This year, Harvard says it will release decisions on the 15th, so you can count on receiving them on Friday after 5PM EST. Only 6 days.

I believe emails are sent out in batches, starting around 5 p.m. and going 'till 8 p.m. or so (EST). No relationship (that I saw) between email time + getting in or not.

they email alphabetically by name, i believe -- though i was applied for RD, not EA. my last name begins with a C and i received my decision quite early last year, compared to other kids on CC posting decisions at the time.

I was deferred EA - got my e-mail at 5:30PM EST. I got my acceptance e-mail RD around 5:05PM EST. But this is just anecdotal, obviously.

i couldn't tell the difference, i got my deferral and admit email late... but maybe that's because my last name is at the end of the alphabet, i have no idea

is there anybody getting in without an interview?
