<p>I'm an accepted transfer student wondering when we get to pick our classes?
When I called NYU the person on the phone said everything would be taken care of during orientation which is in August, right before classes start. That seems a bit late to me.</p>

<p>I am transferring to NYU also, and have heard some mixed answers. I believe an adviser will contact you during the week of June 25th. From there, you will meet with him/her to discuss classes either in person or over the phone. Then, he/she will take the hold off your account so you can register. Good luck!</p>
<p>I transferred this past spring and I registered for classes during orientation … talk about stressful, unorganized, and extremely frustrating! Hopefully you have better luck!</p>
<p>I transferred last fall and I signed up for classes online midsummer, around the same time as the freshmen did. Then, during orientation, we had to meet with an adviser, who approved our schedules. However, it might be different depending on what school you’re in. I’m in Tisch.</p>
