I submitted my housing form march 18 and received #5049 for my housing agreement. I was just thinking about what time can I expect a housing notification? Will it be a orientation? Any help would be great.

June they will send a bill in the mail with your room and roommate notification too.

What about summer notifications?

In the past, summer housing notification comes out in April so you should be receiving it shortly.

This is the email that my son received for summer housing…

Summer housing agreements for current residents are now available. The deadline
for priority assignment is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009.

Sherrill W. Ragans Hall is the only available hall option for students above the
freshman level selecting summer sessions A, B and C. Ragans Hall will open for
summer sessions A and B at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009. Opening day for
summer session C is 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Unfortunately, we
cannot honor requests to move in earlier than these dates and times.

Assignment notices for Sessions A & B will be mailed to your campus address
(U-Box). Room assignment invoices for summer session C will be mailed to your
permanent address in early June.

Current Housing students who choose to cancel the summer agreement must do so in
writing PRIOR TO APRIL 24, 2009. After this date current housing students will
be financially obligated for the summer housing fees for the selected summer
term. The only exception is written notice that you will not be attending FSU.

Additional Reminder: The deadline for canceling your Fall 2009 - Spring 2010
Housing Contract, if you have one, is also April 24, 2009. No releases will be
approved after this date.

Housing assignments for new freshmen starting in the summer and fall are both mailed in the first week of June. Only current students get their assignments in April.

Thanks FSULEON for the correction.

I know that last year, my D did not yet have her housing assignment for summer when she attended orientation. I though it would have been nice to know by then. But she did not receive notice until the first week in June, and received Summer and Fall assignments within a week of each other–summer, then fall.
