When do we find out scholarship info?!?

Anyone know?

I've emailed them but sometimes it can take a while...

I'm not sure, but I do know that Financial Aid Information comes about6 weeks after filing fafsa.

i called.

early march.

That's what I was told as well... can't they give a date!?!? Even if it's the wrong date atleast I'll have something to look foward to!

March 1st.

I really want my scholarship info already! I was hoping that i would have received it by March 1st but now i guess they'll send it out by then...

i called today and the guy said the letters aren't even sent out until next week.

i'm so irritated.

ugh... me too. I just want to know already! I think how much i get from them will make a major impact on where i decide to go.

Since we are similarly qualified applicants, how much merit-based scholarship do you expect to be offered? Whats the minimum, maximum, and realistic amount? Just curious, since we really do have similar GPA, SATs, EC's, and interests (like you said) lol. Good luck!

I'm hoping 10,000, because someone from my school who graduated 5th in his class, with a 1290 SAT score and like a 96 gpa got that much but he was an engineering major (this was last year). However, two years ago another person from my school was 6th in his class, 95.something gpa and 1300 SAT scores got 12,000 and he was a business major. Anything less than 10,000 i will be disappointed with. Dean scholarships range from 5,000-16,000, from what i recall. So i guess i would be happy with something in the middle.

Rideboarder02 - DO you snowboard on Ride equipment??? and do you have AIM?

Jewls - that sounds about right. If I were offered $10,000 a year, that may be enough to sway my decision to NU..

Bozenuts - yeah, Ride is awesome! my SN is phi2487.

Hopefully we'll get something this week...

I applied to Northeastern without much knowledge about the school. It would take about $15,000 for me to consider it as I haven't found many things that make it any better than my state school, UMD(which I've been accepted into and into the honors program)

Good luck everyone!!!!
