When do we get our room assignments?

<p>So May 7th has past... when are we notified!? I'm really anxious to know where I end up and to start speaking to my soon-to-be roommate. </p>

Fall 2009</p>

<pre><code>* March 18- Applications available (emails sent weekly thereafter as enrollment deposits are received).

  • May 7 -Deadline to submit application for the first round of housing assignments. All housing applications received by 11:59pm EDT are assigned a random number to objectively determine the order in which housing assignments are made. Having an application in this round does not guarantee that you will receive your preferred room type or campus neighborhood. Applications after May 7 are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • June 25 - August 20 - Residence hall contracts available. Assignments are not given over the phone. Contracts must be submitted within ten days from the contract sent date.
  • First Week of August - Roommate notification, approximate room dimensions, and move-in information (including unloading permit and driving directions) available on line.
  • August 31 - Entire fall term room and board payment due.
