When do we hear about interviews?

<p>My interview was last-to-last Saturday, but many others in my area haven’t been contacted. A friend of mine contacted the admissions office asking what the deal was, and they said if he wasn’t contacted by the 18th he most likely would not get one and could then submit an additional rec (which he is doing). However, he was contacted for his interview a few days later, making it seem like calling the office helped out a bit. If I were you, I’d call them up and ask what is going on with regards to interviews (but don’t sound too pushy).</p>

<p>Either way, the interviews are pretty ineffectual in Duke admissions unfortunately. I wouldn’t worry about it if you don’t get one, it doesn’t matter at all. Good luck, hope to see you in Durham next year! :)</p>

<p>I applied 10/16 and didn’t get an interview. Admissions told me there were not any nearby interviewers for my area (they divided by state apparently, so even though I am 15 mins from a major area there were no alumni interviewers available).</p>

<p>I applied October 24 and had mine November 7.</p>

<p>My son had his interview yesterday :slight_smile: he was contacted on Monday by the Duke Alumni who was just seeing the email from Duke to set up an interview because he was traveling.</p>
