Res life will send you emails. Basically you have to submit a deposit and then they will assign you a random lottery time a few weeks later. Whoever has the earliest time out of the 3(or 4) people you’ll be living with enrolls every member of their group in an apartment space.

This happened last year in late April- mid May, I believe.

Man… so I have to put down the deposit first… that sucks.

I’m still not sure if I’m going to be on or off campus and I only have a few weeks left to decide

Yeah that’s exactly how I was too, it was stressful. I decided not to live on campus and I’m very pleased with that decision -another year of Cafe V and the paper-thin ERC walls would’ve surely killed me.

Can you stay in the res hall or do they force you to go to the apartment?

did you get an acceptance letter already? cant sign up for housing without being admitted

We’re talking about current student housing, Aj.

And Sunfish, I think we can stay in the reshalls or apartments. At least thats how it is for Muir.

Yeah you COULD stay in the reshalls but why would you want to? You’d just be around tons of people not your own age.

YAY i just got admitted today

How do you know you were admitted?

well i think i am… my tritonlink completely changed and has a bunch of info for me to give and asking for housing deposit. idk why i am not getting an email of so but im assuming. i have a TAG anyways, so i know im in, its just whether or not its official yet

Likewise. Tritonlink is allowing me access to a lot of areas it never had before. Hopefully, as you said, it’s a sign of acceptance.
