When do you find out about housing/roomate(s)?

<p>So I literally just got accepted a couple days ago because I am a transfer student and had to wait until my current semester ended. So happy I got in!! But, I know housing on campus is going to be really tough. As the payment system is closed for the weekend (not sure if it's just this weekend, or all..) I have to wait until Monday to put my deposit down. </p>

<p>Questions:</p>

<p>Chances of getting into North Campus? I really don't care if it's Governors or Ellicott. I just really, really want to be on North as most of my classes will be there (computer engineering major..)</p>

<p>Next, what is it like to go from south to north? Do you just go once in the morning and just stay there all day in the library or something? Or do buses come so often that you can go back and forth? How long is the ride?</p>

<p>Lastly, once I put in my deposit, when will I know where I'm going to be + with who.</p>

<p>Housing assignments don’t come out until summer (July?), so you won’t know right away. Don’t know if you can get North campus, so plan on South. Folks say buses run all the time.</p>

<p>Buses run all the time although it can be a pain nights + weekends. I personally liked south more than north so being on south isn’t the end of the world.</p>
