I know early action decisions are sent in December. Do you find out about merit scholarships at the same time or do you have to wait? Any idea on the stats for qualifications for scholarships in the past? Thanks!

Your financial aid/merit scholarships are included with your decision letter.

I applied EA last year and got into the honors program with $7,000/semester ($14,000/year) in merit aid. My stats were
-unweighted GPA of 4.0 (I believe, my school weighed it, but I’m pretty sure it would have been 4.0 unweighted)
-SAT I score of 2230
-SAT II scores of 790 (U.S. History) and 750 (Math 2) (and 660 in Bio from sophomore year, but I think they only consider the top two)
-By the end of senior year, I had also taken 6 APs (at time of applying, I wrote in my scores for U.S. History (5) and Language & Comp. (5)

So that’s just for comparison. I think my roommate had slightly lower SATs (and GPA too, I think) and still got the same amount of $.

I got slightly higher GPA and SAT, and got the same amount.
