When do you get EFC figure?

<p>We filed FAFSA about ten days ago and have not received information about our EFC. How long does this usually take and how does it arrive?</p>

<p>Any information you have would be most appreciated.</p>

<p>If you did it online and gave an email address, you should have received an email about 3 days after you submitted giving you a link to the SAR (student aid report) and that is where the EFC is.</p>

<p>Hmmm...I don't think we got an e-mail like that. But now I see from the fafsa web page <a href="http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/&lt;/a> that we can log in and check the SAR.</p>

<p>If you filed online, after you press the submit button, a confirmation page comes up that has the EFC number on it - no waiting involved.</p>
