I am a junior this year but many of the seniors at my school have already sent in their applications, either rolling admissions or early action. My question is whether this increases your chances. I had very average grades freshman and sophmore years but they have increase significantly this year and I'm sure I can keep them up next year too. I think that the extra year would really help my gpa. Does it make a difference if you send them in March at the regular deadline or in Oct.? Thanks...

If you're applying EA, ED, or RD, then no, it won't make a difference whether you submit it the day of the deadline or a month before the deadline. That's because the admissions committee won't look at and consider applications until after the deadline.

If you're applying rolling admissions, then yes it would be in your best interests to apply as early as possible.
