When Do You Study?

When do you guys find it most effective to study/read? Evening/late at night/early morning? I'm not sure whether I will retain more information if I study early in the morning or at night...

Never

But on the rare rare rare occasion that I do, it's normally right before I leave for school or right before I watch tv at night ;) (8 am or 8 pm) for like 10 mins max.

It always depends...but in my case I study/do homework during the commercials of any show that I'm watching on T.V. (at night, because I need some time to relax after I come from school)

after school. it's basically a race against the clock to learn something before i get tired.

5 minutes before the test

when i have time

When the call of Zeus comes.

After I've procrastinated a bit. I'm not THAT bad, but I have started studying for stuff 5 minutes before the quiz/test. Don't really recommend it.

When I actually have stuff I need to get done, then....After I laze around, and find random other things to do for about 7 hours, then delay it for a bit.. And then usually I do it the next day.

Never. Literally. I maaaaybe study occasionally at school, a couple of periods before a major test or essay, or I'll get up a little early to read over a chapter. I strongly advice against this, but it works for me...

At like mid-afternoon right after dinner like 6.

Honestly it's all about what works for you. Personally I won't go to bed until I think I've done all I can do. I know others who say screw it around 10 PM and wake up around 4 AM to cram before school.

I'm going to start to study for a test I have now. I've put it off for like, 6 hours now.

Right before going to bed, or during lunch.

I'm studying right now.

The topic is Boolean Algebra. Unfortunately, I'm tired and I can't wrap my mind around all this logic.

By the way: advice is a noun, advise is a verb.

I tend to do a lot of my homework/reading right before dinner (5ish - 6ish). Anything that's easy/not very time-consuming, I finish up right after school.

I study about 5 minutes before the test and I always ace them. That's the only time I really study.

Depends. This may sound really weird but I study in the shower. I tape the paper to the outside of the shower door so I can read it while in there. Hey, it saves time and then I can watch TV later! If it's something I really need to study, I'll study while watching TV at around 11 p.m. for about 20 minutes and if it's some I don't need to but I still look over anyways just in case, at the beginning of class right before the test.

5 minutes before you have the test so it'll be freshest in your memory
