I have the option to begin my B.A. this fall or next spring 2015. There are quiet a lot of benefits in waiting for spring. First, I will have more time to save my money. While I'm out of school for a semester I can save my money, rest my mind, apply for scholarships, get ahead of my studying in my hard classes such as Calculus and physics with all of the resources out there (MIT open courseware, etc...) I just don't know if there are any significant benefits to starting a semester early(fall 2014). What do you think?

A major benefit of starting in the fall is that that’s when most fr enter, so it could be easier for you to make friends, learn the ropes, etc. Also, keep in mind that most scholarships are for graduating seniors and they will have already been awarded by spring of this year.
