I'm trying to find a building with a chalkboard to study in (late-night study).

I heard Dwinelle is open 24 hours, but I don't know if that's true anymore. Do you guys know?

I know Wheeler closes at 10 pm (source: custodian), if that helps at all.

lol not really, but thanks for the reply weebly :)

it sucks that the only time berkeley has 24 hour library for undergrads is during finals, i think grad students can get 24-hour access to certain places. argh.

you can just hide in dwinelle. it’s not that hard.

lol wth, people do that? interesting.

I don’t know. haha I just kinda expect it to be easy. It’s not like they hire policemen to go through every room and the building is huge. Be pretty creepy though. What if it’s haunted???
Aren’t some of the buildings like Cory open 24/7? You probably need some key to get in though. It’s all good, just stand by the door.

Just go to Main stacks and ask for a key to one of the study rooms and it’s all yours. Not hard at all.

Cory and Soda are open 24/7 if you have card key access (which all EECS/CS students should have). But certain floors are restricted in off hours unless you’re a grad student, do research or are an HKN officer.

UpMagic, aren’t study room keys due back by around 10 pm? If you return to the front desk after the circulation staff is gone for the night, you don’t get your Cal ID back…

well if you’re planning on staying for the night, that doesn’t really matter meow. lol

Actually, they kick people out of study rooms at 10pm even if you have returned the key. I recently tried doing that.
