When does H start reading apps?

I believe H apps are read in the order received, but does reception include only the CA portion, or the transcript, recs, etc? For example, I got my application submitted a week ago, but the school still has not sent my teacher recommendations and transcript. Will this make a difference?

Thank you

From everything I’ve read, Admissions Directors prefer to read all applications from a single high school at one time. That way, it’s easier to directly compare you to your peers who have also applied from the same high school. And it also gives AO’s a better sense of the pecking-order at your high school and where you fit-in to that mosaic.

The MOST IMPORTANT part of an application is your transcript, along with your guidance counselor’s Secondary School Report (SSR) and high school profile. The next most important part are your teacher recommendations. I would think your regional Admissions Director would wait for those elements of your file before they begin looking everything over. Once those elements have been submitted by your HS, they could begin reading your file (and those of your fellow classmates from your HS) the next day.
