For example, if i have work experience from the ages of 16 to 23 (full time jobs and 1 internship) and I am 26 now but just finishing my double BA, would my work experience be sufficient for applying directly to an MBA program?

In my understanding, the work experience usually needs to come after your undergraduate degree because that is usually very substantial/meaningful work. If your work experience prior to college was meaningful and you had an impact (i.e. not a lifeguard, construction worker, cashier) then admissions will view it as such. However, it’s extremely uncommon for a 20 year old with no degree to land a job that admissions would consider solid work experience.
