When does your TAG money appear on your term bill?

I am about to pay my term bill, but my TAG money is missing. I am receiving about $2,000 and I need to know when it will appear on there. My bill is due on August 11.

I was told by a Rutgers FA advisor that the TAG money doesn’t appear under the financial aid section of the term bill and that NJ still has to ‘finalize’ it. So don’t expect it to show up any day now, but I could be wrong. Someone told me that they give us the money in Sept. after we’re in school, but i don’t really know.

um actually i got the tag as well, but it was on my term bill, i submitted all the papers they asked for asap and soon enough i got the paper telling me how much i got from them per semester, and i was good. i payed my term bill and it was on it. the one thing that was not on it was the work study program

I didn’t even get anything directly from HESAA during the last week of July (which I’m supposed to). However, my TAG grant was in my term bill, and my term bill is already figured out. So I have no idea what’s happening. I guess it’s all good.

How is the tag money labeled on your term bill?

Is there a CR at the end?

bump. Is there an email out there?

No, the TAG grant was not labeled for me, and I did have CR (the money thats coming back to me). The reason why I know that the Tag grant was given to me was because the only way my financial aid could reach up to what I received is with the TAG grant.

same exact thing as MAnythings said

man, this is making me wonder why my CR didn’t have the Tag grant added in…

This is so confusing. I rejected all financial aid a week ago and that money is still under there. I might have to call them tomorrow to get a final word.

I logged into my financial aid account and the only thing there is my TAG money. My Tag money is a little more than $1,000 less than what is appearing on my term bill under the financial aid column. Should I pay the full tuition price or pay the reduced amount?

if they’re giving you the tag money, then pay the reduced amount.

Same here buddy.

$6,490.95 (COST)

$4,309.00CR (AID)

$2,181.95 (OWE)

$5,146 TAG Grant from FAFSA
$2,675 Federal Pell Grant from FAFSA

This means I should be getting $1,330~ BACK from my Pell Grant.

…? Things aren’t adding up… lol.

Just call tomorrow and get it sorted out. Same thing happened to me; I just checked and I nearly freaked out. After calling I have to go to campus to pick classes and get my Parking Permit (Nearly 181 people yesterday when they went on sale; screw that wait).

w8 theirs a limit to how many parking permits they sell ?

parking permits went on sale already? I thought we could get them on the website, but it says they are not available yet. hmm.
